About Ciarán

Ciarán leads the BDO Ireland Sports Advisory Unit. BDO was the first Irish professional services firm to establish a dedicated sports unit in 2005 which advises a broad range of sports professionals, clubs and National Governing Bodies. In this role, Ciarán advises on all aspects of their financial, tax and commercial planning.

He contributes regularly to print & broadcast media on sports business matters.
The BDO Ireland Sports Advisory Unit has, over the last 25 years, become the clear industry leader in the sector. We currently advise more than 90 professional sports clients on their commercial, tax and financial affairs.

The primary sports in which we work are football, rugby, golf and boxing and we work with many of Ireland’s elite sportspeople including professional golfers, premiership footballers, international rugby players, jockeys & Olympic athletes.
